Princess Sudabeh
Princess Sudabeh, Queen of Iran and stepmother of Prince Siavash, is remembered in Persian mythology as a woman of great beauty. Yet when she became infatuated with her stepson and conceived the thought of betraying her husband, King Kay Kāvus, her radiant face turned into one of ugliness and deceit. This sculpture reflects her duality—portraying the fragile boundary between beauty and corruption, between love and desire.
